Level 1-2 Training in HMR involving instruction on intervention for the treatment of Level 1 and Level 2 trauma. This three-day workshop involves instruction in the clean-language body-centered verbal interventions along with resource development to enhance sensory access and foster safety for the emotional reframing of stressful and traumatic memories. Level One: Simple, Single Event/Scene Trauma; Multiple MemoriesTraining at Level One includes the history of trauma resolution and the specific contribution of HMR, the redefinition of "trauma", reframing of the traditional psychopathology model through the lens of trauma, integration of the latest breakthroughs regarding the dynamics of trauma induction and resolution, development of the requisite verbal and auditory (listening) skills, detailed review of the verbal technique and its goals, introduction to the most common solutions for emotional reframing, development of resources for enhancing safety and sensory access to memories, the introduction of self-care exercises and recommendations, and an overview of training and certification. Level Two: Trauma to the Core (Spiritual) Belief System, Dissociative Disorders, Spiritual Trauma, Mapping Disease Etiology Via Memories, Review of Complex Solutions, Integration ExercisesTraining at Level Two includes additional therapeutic interventions to support the client's access and resolution of more complex trauma patterns. This training involves learning to follow the client's own language and process which discloses how the trauma is woven into his/her psyche. Pervasive, repeated, overwhelming experiences lead to a level of encoding that is far more potent than single-scene trauma. Memories may "connect" and associate themselves in the subconscious forming a "level-two" trauma pattern or "part." Interventions to address the more complex patterns of the trauma continuum are introduced. This level of training deepens our understanding the impact of the biochemical-electrical imprints of trauma on the immune, endocrine, and autonomic nervous systems. Additional interventions were developed to address these complex pattern-imprints including "Reparenting" and the "Conference Table." Additional exercises are introduced to address the psycho-spiritual impact of trauma. Recommendations are offered to support self-care, supervision, and possible referral. |
